The Irish Aikido Federation (IrAF) is a long standing member of the International Aikido Federation (IAF). The IAF holds a Congress every 4 years including a General Assembly of members, a 5 day training seminar and a demonstration (embukai). The 12th Congress and Seminar, marking the 40th anniversary of the IAF, took place from September 26th to 2nd October 2016, in Takasaki, Japan.
